Quail Ridge is no longer in existance which is a shame because they make great wine. The Cabernet we tasted was almost 10 years old at the time of consumption. Cabernet Sauvignon is a complex grape that needs to age. This wine had flavors of currant, cherry and hints of smoke. It is a full bodied wine that everyone greatly enjoyed. This wine would be wonderful with a medium rare fillet of beef or a well aged, rare ribeye steak |
